Why one remodeler for the whole house
Fewer hand-offs, one schedule and one warranty for every room.
Materials first
We order every material before we touch your home. Demo day is not scheduled until everything is in our warehouse, so your kitchen is never torn out waiting on a backordered cabinet.
A clean job site
Our own truck drops a 14-foot container on demo day and takes it away when demolition is done. No trash pile in front of your garage for the HOA to write you about.
Two-year labor warranty
Most remodelers give one year on labor; every FKB project gets two. Materials also carry their maker's warranty, from 5-year limited to lifetime depending on the brand.
Our people run every job
Our own project managers and lead technicians run every job, with trusted specialist partners for countertops, glass and engineering, always under our supervision and our warranty.

Questions
Whole-house remodeling FAQ: contacts, permits and timing
Do you do whole-house remodeling?
Yes. We remodel kitchens, bathrooms, showers, basements, closets and home additions, and we take on several rooms or a whole house as one project, with one plan, one project manager and a two-year labor warranty. Our own project managers and lead technicians run every job, with trusted specialist partners for countertops, glass and engineering, and extra crews when a schedule needs them, always under our supervision and our warranty.
Who is my contact during a whole-house remodel?
Your first call is with Sena, our sales director. Your designer leads until your contract and final measurements are done; then your project manager takes over to the last walkthrough. Sena stays your executive contact the whole way.
Do I need permits for a whole-house renovation?
Most whole-house renovations need permits, and the rules differ by county and city. We handle the whole permit process, from the building and trade permits to the county fees and every inspection, so you never deal with the county.
When does construction start?
We order every material before we touch your home. Demo day is not scheduled until everything is in our warehouse and the permits are in hand, so your house is never torn open waiting on a backordered part.
Do you remodel homes in Maryland and Washington, DC?
Yes. We are licensed in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC, and fully insured, including workers' compensation. Our Bethesda showroom serves Montgomery County and DC.
