Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Fairfax Kitchen and Bath collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://fairfaxkitchenbath.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Fairfax Kitchen and Bath.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
Web browser cookies
Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
As you browse https://fairfaxkitchenbath.com, advertising cookies will be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in. Our display advertising partner then enables us to present you with retargeting advertising on other sites based on your previous interaction with Fairfax Kitchen and Bath. The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address or telephone number.
Analytics and advertising tools
We use two tools from other companies to learn how people find and use this Site and whether our ads work:
- Google Analytics (from Google). It records the pages you visit, how you reached us (for example, which ad, search or website), your browser and device type, your approximate location (about city level, worked out from your internet address), and actions such as sending our consultation form or tapping one of our phone numbers. It uses cookies to do this.
- The Meta Pixel (from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta when someone visits this Site, sends our consultation form or taps a phone number, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to be interested. It uses cookies, and Meta may link the visit to your Facebook or Instagram account.
The events our Site sends to Google and Meta never include your name, phone number, email address, street address or anything you type in our forms. If you arrived by clicking an ad, the ad's click code from the link (for example “gclid” or “fbclid”) and the campaign name are kept with your consultation request, so we know which ad brought you.
How to opt out:
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, we do not load the Meta Pixel, and Google Analytics runs with its advertising features turned off.
- On this Site. Use “Opt out of ad tracking” on our Stop texts or calls page. It does the same as Global Privacy Control, in that browser.
- Google. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ads from Google in My Ad Center.
- Meta. Manage how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences.
