Fairfax Kitchen and Bath was contacted by a farm house owner in Lovettsville. He was looking to have his property renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen had outdated cabinets and counters, as well as the bathroom. The customer received a free estimate from one of our contractors, who came to his home to do measurements.

The customer then came to our showroom to pick out the granite and quartz slabs he wanted for the two rooms. He selected a beautiful white granite stone slab with black veins and a dark gray quartz slab with specks of white and black veins.

A Masterfully Completed Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling Lovettville

The kitchen and bathroom renovation performed by Fairfax Kitchen and Bath gave the farmhouse modern appeal. It was a done job well done by our contractors, who spent hours meticulously designing each area of the kitchen and bathroom.

Our professionals were responsible for updating the floors, sinks, vanities, cabinets, countertops and faucets. The products were purchased from our quality line of goods. The outcome satisfied the customer and his so much so that he vowed to hire us again for another property he owned nearby.

Remodeling the Farmhouse Kitchen

The kitchen was very large. It had a typical farm house design with a wide and deep sink and lots of counters and cabinets. The countertops were wooden and outdated, with chipped and peeled areas. The quartz stone really made the kitchen come to life. The cabinets were redone first, using our brilliant dark wooden cabinetry.

The floors were made with hardwood, so it vibed well with the new cabinets. The sink and faucet were installed last. The kitchen had a new kitchen island recently installed, which had a butcherblock counter. This was stained to match the wooden floors and cabinets.

Remodeling the Farmhouse Bathroom

There was only one bathroom built at the time of the installation. The owner talked of adding another one soon, which he wanted our professionals to remodel. The current bathroom had a large clawfoot bathtub and now standalone shower. The sink was attached to the wall and had an old-fashioned armoire on the opposite side of the bathroom.

Our contractors removed the sink and installed the new vanity and sink to that area. The new focal point of the bathroom gave it a contemporary feel. The clawfoot bathtub was a great touch to the overall décor the bathroom, so he decided to keep that. The granite stone countertops matched well with the new tile floors.

The entire project took our contractors four days to complete. It was a quick and easy process, which our customer really appreciated.

Lovettville, VA

Lovettsville is a Loudoun County town located in Virginia. It can be found north of the Commonwealth of Virginia. In the earlier days, the first settlers to reach Lovettsville were made up mostly of German immigrants. The city was first established back in 1836.

As of 2010, the population of the town was around 1,600 people. It’s a quaint little town with lots of history and things to offer its residents.

During the 1700s, the Treaty of St. Albans was created to establish a buffer zone between the German settlers and the Native Americans. The division line was the Blue Ridge Mountains. The white settlers then started to come to Loudoun Valley to establish villages and to farm on the rich topsoil. Many of the homes were mad from logs and wood. At this time, the area became known as The German Settlement.

Then later in 1820, a man named David Lovett began subdividing the area into quarter-acre city lots. This was the beginning of the construction boom. The town then became known as Newtown because of the rate of expansion. It wasn’t until 1836 when the town was renamed Lovettsville and established as a city by the Virginia General Assembly. Then in 1876, it was finally incorporated as a city.

What Can Be Found in Lovettsville Today?

In today’s Lovettsville, you can still find various farms. There are also wineries and vineyards and entertainment venues like performance symphonies and historical museums. Some of the farms you can find here include Blue Ridge Mountain Dairy, Butterfly Bend Farm and Patowmack Farm. If you want to visit some of the local wineries and vineyards, you can go to Creek’s Edge Winery and Hiddencroft Vineyards.

Then for a little bit of history, there’s the Lovettsville Historical Society and Museum. You can also go to the Loudoun Symphonic Winds to hear performances from talented instrumentalists. Lovettsville has a small town feel that’s heartwarming and fun.
