What's not part of the package?
We handle everything from design and permits to construction and final cleanup for your kitchen or bathroom remodel, but there are a few things that fall outside our typical services. Being upfront about what we don’t include helps you plan your budget and timeline more accurately. Here are the main items you’ll need to arrange separately:
Interior Painting
We’ll get your walls prepped and primed, ready for paint, but many of our clients prefer to handle the final paint color themselves. You might already have a favorite painter, or you might want to tackle it as a DIY project. Either way, we coordinate the timing so you can paint once all the construction work is finished.
Light Fixtures & Decorative Elements
There are so many beautiful lighting options available that we find most homeowners want to choose their own fixtures and decorative touches. We’ll install whatever you select and make sure everything is properly wired and positioned. Your designer can definitely help you plan where everything should go and what size fixtures will work best in your space.
Flooring in Adjacent Areas
We handle all the flooring within your kitchen or bathroom renovation area, but if you want to extend new flooring into hallways or adjoining rooms, that’s typically a separate project. Most clients find it easier to coordinate this type of additional flooring work after their main remodel is complete.
Exterior Work
Any landscaping, deck work, or exterior improvements around new windows or doors usually fall outside our kitchen and bathroom specialization. We can recommend trusted partners for outdoor projects, and we’re happy to coordinate timing so exterior work doesn’t interfere with your interior renovation schedule.
Appliance Selection & Delivery
Appliances change so quickly that most homeowners prefer to research and purchase their own refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and other appliances. We’re happy to provide specifications for what you’ll need and coordinate delivery timing. Many clients enjoy shopping for appliances themselves since it’s one of the more fun parts of the remodeling process.
